TWS NO TRAGEDY Becomes Group’s First Million-Seller Album

TWS has recorded its first million-seller album with its fifth mini album, ‘NO TRAGEDY.’ The album sold 1,003,844 copies by April 30, 2026, based on Hanteo Chart data, reaching the mark four days after its April 27 release.¹

TWS NO TRAGEDY Million-Seller Record

The sales figure follows a strong opening day for the album. StarNews reported that ‘NO TRAGEDY’ sold 833,138 copies on April 27, its release date, and went directly to No. 1 on Hanteo Chart’s daily album chart.³ Dispatch’s English-language report described the first-day performance as approximately 830,000 copies and said the album had set a new personal record for TWS.⁴

The first-day total was also higher than the cumulative sales of TWS’s previous work, ‘play hard,’ which StarNews said had sold 746,731 copies as of March 2026.³ That comparison places the new album’s opening day above the previous album’s accumulated total, underscoring how quickly ‘NO TRAGEDY’ moved past the group’s earlier sales benchmark.

Pre-orders had already pointed to a significant release week. ‘NO TRAGEDY’ is led by the title track ‘널 따라가 (You, You).’ OSEN reported that the music video for the title track was released through the HYBE LABELS YouTube channel at 6 p.m. on April 27, the same day as the album release.⁶ The report described the video as centered on six members confronting a star that blocks their fate, while introducing the album as a story of TWS completing love proactively rather than waiting for a predetermined destiny.⁶

The album’s digital activity also appeared on Korean music platforms shortly after release. StarNews reported that ‘널 따라가 (You, You)’ and two additional tracks entered Melon’s ‘Top100’ as of midnight on April 28.³ Dispatch also reported that ‘You, You’ reached No. 1 on iTunes ‘Top Songs’ charts in Indonesia and Ukraine.⁴

The group addressed the pre-order milestone during the showcase. Shinyu said, “I think of it not simply as a number, but as motivation from the fans,” adding that TWS would work harder.⁵ In another showcase comment reported by StarNews, TWS said it wanted to create activities that could become precious memories for 42, the group’s fans, and added, “We will become a proud TWS.”³

Broadcast Schedule After the Milestone

Following the sales achievement, TWS is scheduled for a run of Korean music broadcast appearances. Heraldmuse reported that the group would appear on KBS2’s ‘Music Bank’ on May 1, MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’ on May 2, and SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’ on May 3.¹

Those stages place the group’s promotional activity directly after the album crossed 1 million copies on Hanteo Chart. Because the sales count was measured through April 30 and the broadcast schedule begins May 1, the music shows are positioned as the first major televised performances after confirmation of the group’s first million-seller album.

The available figures show a clear progression for ‘NO TRAGEDY’: 1.16 million pre-orders by April 24, 833,138 first-day sales on April 27, and 1,003,844 cumulative Hanteo Chart sales by April 30.
