BTS Mexico City concerts at Estadio GNP Seguros sold out and drew about 150,000 fans across three shows held on May 7, 9 and 10, 2026. The performances were part of BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN MEXICO CITY and marked the group’s first full-group solo concert in Mexico in nearly 10 years and 10 months.1
The sellout was evident months before the concerts began. BIGHIT MUSIC’s Weverse notice confirmed the Mexico City dates, named Estadio GNP Seguros as the venue, identified Ticketmaster as the ticket vendor, and listed the general onsale for 9 a.m. local time on January 24, 2026.2 El Financiero reported that tickets for all three concerts sold out during that January 24 general sale, with virtual queues reaching more than 300,000 people and Ticketmaster marking the dates sold out after 36 minutes.3
BTS Mexico City Sellout Confirmed Across Three Dates

The three sold-out dates gave Mexico City one of the most concentrated stops on the reported tour schedule. Starnews reported that BTS met about 150,000 fans over the three concerts and that all three shows sold out immediately after tickets were released.1 EL PAÍS México also reported that demand was strong enough for tickets to sell out shortly after release, and listed an 8 p.m. start time for each of the three concerts.4
A later Ticketmaster ticket release underlined the scale of remaining demand. Noroeste reported on May 3 that Ticketmaster released roughly 9,000 additional tickets, about 3,000 for each concert, after production adjustments and cancellations of purchases that did not meet sale terms. The outlet said the new release drew a virtual queue of more than half a million fans and sold out in about half an hour.5

Ticket Demand Extended Beyond the Stadium
The concerts also generated large crowds beyond ticket holders. Starnews reported that local authorities estimated about 35,000 fans gathered around the stadium on the second and third concert days.1 One day before the first concert, BTS appeared on a terrace at Mexico’s presidential palace, where Yonhap News Agency reported that about 50,000 fans gathered in Zócalo Square and that President Claudia Sheinbaum stood with the members during the appearance.6
The public appearance added a civic dimension to the Mexico City stop while remaining tied to the same sold-out concert run. Yonhap reported brief remarks from the appearance, including RM saying, “I love you. Thank you,” and V telling Mexico fans, “I really missed you very much.” President Claudia Sheinbaum was also quoted as saying, “I already told them they must come back next year.”6
The wider commercial effect was also noted before the shows. EL PAÍS México cited a Mexico City chamber of commerce estimate of 1.861 billion pesos in expected economic impact from the concerts. The same report summarized venue logistics, including mobile Ticketmaster SafeTix entry for attendees.4
Return After Nearly 11 Years
The Mexico City concerts carried additional significance because of the time elapsed since BTS last staged a full-group solo concert in the country. Starnews described the three Estadio GNP Seguros performances as the group’s first full-group solo concert in Mexico in nearly 10 years and 10 months.1
During the concerts, BTS addressed the audience with short remarks that reflected the closing tone of the run. Starnews quoted the members as saying, “You were absolutely the best,” and “We will definitely return to Mexico.”1 Those comments followed three nights that had already been defined by rapid sellouts, repeated ticket queues, and large public gatherings around the venue and city center.

Taken together, the reported figures show that BTS Mexico City demand was not limited to the initial onsale. The January general sale sold out in 36 minutes, a later release of about 9,000 tickets sold out in about half an hour, and the completed three-night run brought about 150,000 fans to Estadio GNP Seguros. The concerts closed as a documented sold-out return to Mexico City, supported by official schedule details, local ticketing reports, and post-show attendance figures.
